SOMERSET COUNTY COURTHOUSE

County Courthouse—HVAC Upgrades

M&E performed a Level 2 Energy Audit on the County Courthouse building totaling approximately 135,000 square feet. M&E then provided engineering for the replacement of the two existing 180 ton water-cooled chillers and antiquated control system, as well as the existing 200 ton cooling tower for the adjacent building.

County Courthouse—Expansion

Renovation and addition to the Somerset County Justice Complex. MEP/FP work was required for four different areas: Entry Vestibule, Existing Elevator Lobby, Connector Corridor / Toilet / Anteroom, and New Arbitration Waiting Room. Total affected area was approximately 7,965 square feet and total cost of construction is $2M.
