MORRIS COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX

In association with USA Architects, M&E Engineers provided the engineering design for a new 28,000 square foot addition to the Public Safety Complex for Morris County.

The complex houses the new 911 call center, data center, police offices, crime labs and the office of emergency management. The new Public Safety Access Points (PSAP) has 32 dispatch stations.

Mechanical systems include: two 130 ton Chillers, Rooftop Air Handlers, Energy Recovery Air Handlers (Labs), Boiler, Domestic Water Booster Pump, Domestic Hot Water Heater, and Fire Protection (dry, wet, and clean agent) systems.

The electrical work included a new medium voltage service and transformer, redundant 750 kW diesel standby generators and a redundant 300 kW UPS System.
